The politburo of ruling CPN-UML on Wednesday heard that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli should evaluate the performance of ministers, of the CPN-UML as well as other coalition allies, and reform the government if need be. As many as 10 politburo members of the party aired their views on the political report that party Chairman Oli presented before the politburo meeting yesterday. Party Vice-Chairman Yubaraj Gyawali, Deputy General Secretary Ghanashyam Bhusal, politburo members Raghuji Pant, Beduram Bhusal, Bijaya Paudel, Shreemaya Thakali, Nagendra Chaudhary, Gangalal Shrestha, Gorakh Bogati and Jagannath Khatiwada took part in today’s deliberations.
All of the speakers supported the government’s foreign policy, while most of them were critical of the government’s poor performance and delivery as well as Oli’s modus operandi as the party chairman.
